Covering 35,000 sq feet over two dedicated fabrication workshops 3Ks Engineering Co have the capacity to meet the requirements of a demanding customer base.
Competing in the modern day engineering environment 3Ks has facilities for performing profiling, rolling, drilling and of course welding.
Working to customers or 3Ks weld procedures, all our welders are certificated to B.S EN 287 and BS EN ISO 9606-1, ASME IX and AWS D1.1 (6G) covering a wide range of steels such as carbon and alloy steels, nickel alloys and non ferrous materials.
Employing OXY/ACT, MMA, MIG/MAG, FCAW, TIG and SAW welding processes and adopting the correct pre-heats, inter pass temperature and post-heat requirements within the procedure, 3Ks can meet the stringent demands of most applications.
Using our own qualified inspector 3Ks will carry out dye penetrant or full MPI non-destructive testing when called for within the procedure, or use an independent testing house as and when required. Ultrasonic testing is also carried out by our in-house inspectors. All our NDT Inspectors are both PCN And SNT-TC-1A certified.

Having our large capacity machining facility working in conjunction with our large fabrication shops allows 3Ks to specialise in fabrications requiring a high machining content, an important consideration for our clients where retaining full control of the manufactured product is paramount.
