3Ks Engineering were approached by a client with an urgent requirement for 102 sub-sea cable spooling drums. The drums ranged from 3.5m diameter to 4m diameter and all drums were required on site, fully painted, within a 5-month time-frame, due to the urgency of the project.
After a site visit by the client to view our capacity and capabilities, and our ability to work around the clock, we were awarded the contract for all 102 drums. With meticulous planning, both in the workshop and with multiple authorities, due to the volume of transport, all 102 drums were delivered to Scotland on time and on budget.
